When corn on the cob is in season, take some time to put some away for winter. Serving size based on 1 quart. Ingredients:
4 quarts corn |
1 quart water |
1 cup sugar |
2 teaspoons salt |
Directions:
1. Cut uncooked corn off of cob to equal 4 guarts. 2. Bring corn, sugar, salt and water to a boil. 3. Simmer 10 minutes. 4. Let cool. 5. Pack undrained corn in 1 quart freezer containers or ziplocs for later use. |
