Freezer Coleslaw

Great to have in the freezer when the urge for cole slaw hits! Prep time includes standing time.
Ingredients:
1 head cabbage, shredded about 10 cups
2 carrots, shredded
1 green pepper, chopped fine
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup vinegar
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
Directions:
1. In large bowl, combine veggies with salt.
2. Let stand 1 hour.
3. Place remaining ingredients in pan and boil for 1 minute.
4. Cool.
5. Drain veggies and add to vinegar mixture.
6. Stir gently.
7. Ladle into freezer containers or bags.
8. Freeze.
9. Defrost and served chilled.
