This recipe comes from a little book called ABC Jiffy Cookery. I've had it for over 50 years. I haven't made any of the recipes yet. I'm putting them here so I can find them easier. Ingredients:
1 frankfurter, sliced |
2 eggs |
1 tablespoon sour cream |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. Fry cut slices of frankfurter in butter in frying pan. Beat eggs well with the sour cream, salt and pepper. Pour over the frankfurters and let fry slowly. When well set place under broiler for 1 minute until brown on top. Serve hot. 2. Double recipe if there are 2 for lunch. Frankfurter omelet makes a tasty main course for luncheon. |
