I know it sounds weird. But give it a try-somehow this odd combination does work. Adapted from Mexican Family Cooking. Cook time is chilling time. Serve with corn chips, crackers, or toast. Ingredients:
2 cups chopped frankfurters (or vienna sausages) |
1 cup chopped tomato |
1/2 cup chopped white onion |
1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped |
1/4 cup chopped cilantro leaf |
salt |
pepper |
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients. 2. Cover and chill at least 1 hour. 3. Drain any excess liquid before serving. |
