Four Pepper Blast With Sesame Seed |

This a great side dish with grilled meat or fish. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon sesame oil |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh garlic |
1 green bell pepper |
1 orange bell pepper |
1 red bell pepper |
1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1/4-inch strips |
1 onion, cut into 1/4-inch strips |
1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary (can substitute 1 tsp. dried rosemary) |
2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano leaves (can substitute 1/2 tsp. dried oregano) |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes |
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds |
Directions:
1. Heat sesame oil and butter in 4-quart sauce pan or 12-inch skillet; add garlic. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes. 2. Stir in all remaining ingredients except sesame seed. Reduce heat to low; continue cooking until peppers are crisply tender (5 to 7 minutes). 3. Stir in 2 teaspoons sesame seed. Sprinkle with remaining sesame seed. |
