This dessert is light rich delicious and sooooo easy to eat too much. Easily made ahead. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup flour |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 1/2 stick butter |
1 cup chopped pecans |
1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese |
1 cup powdered sugar |
1 cup cool whip |
2 small pkg instant chocolate pudding |
3 cups milk |
coolwhip |
Directions:
1. Melt the butter. 2. Add the flour, sugar and most of the nuts. (save a few for garnishing at the end) 3. Press into a 9 x 13 and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool. 4. Cream together the cream cheese, powdered sugar and cup of cool whip. 5. Spread this mixture over the cooled crust and chill in the frig. 6. Mix together the instant pudding and milk for 2 minutes. Spread over the second layer. Cool. 7. Last layer - top with cool whip and sprinkle with nuts. Serve well chilled. |
