From The Best of Taiwanese Cuisine Ingredients:
3 cups salt water |
1 cup rice wine |
1 green onion, sliced |
1 tablespoon finely minced fresh ginger |
8 prawns, cleaned |
1 lime, cut in 8 wedges |
Directions:
1. Combine salted water, wine, onion and ginger. 2. Bring to a boil and add the prawns. 3. Simmer 5-6 minutes or until the prawns are opaque and cooked. 4. Remove the shells, except for a small bit at the end of the tails. Butterfly the prawns and chill. |
