Kraft Foods Ingredients:
16 ounces penne pasta, uncooked |
1/2 cup butter |
2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped |
1/2 cup flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
4 1/2 cups milk |
4 ounces provolone cheese, shredded |
4 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded |
2 ounces parmesan cheese, shredded |
2 ounces swiss cheese, shredded |
1 cup italian bread, crumbs |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F Spray 13x9-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray. 2. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package. 3. Meanwhile, in 4-quart saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter over low heat. 4. Add garlic; cook 30 seconds, stirring frequently. 5. With wire whisk, stir in flour and salt until smooth. 6. Increase heat to medium; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly. 7. Gradually stir in milk. 8. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. 9. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in cheeses. 10. Cook until melted, stirring occasionally. 11. Stir pasta into cheese sauce. 12. Pour mixture into baking dish. 13. In 6-inch skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat; stir in bread crumbs. 14. Cook and stir until crumbs are golden brown. Sprinkle over pasta mixture. 15. Bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly. |
