I love tuna casseroles and this is one of the best. I got this ages ago when the Forrester Sisters had a cooking show. Ingredients:
6 ounces medium noodles, cooked |
1 (13 ounce) can tuna |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1 cup celery |
1/3 cup onion |
1/4 cup green pepper |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/3 cup pimiento |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup |
1/2 cup milk |
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese |
1/2 cup slivered almonds |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°. 2. Combine tuna, mayo, celery, green pepper, onion, salt and pimiento. 3. Heat soup and milk in pan. 4. Blend. 5. Add cheese. 6. Add to tuna mixture. 7. Add noodles. 8. Pour in casserole. 9. Top with almonds. 10. Bake 20 minute. |
