This one after mixing and all that you put in ofen turn off oven and walk away even overnight. Ingredients:
turn oven to 350 before beginning the cookies. |
2 egg whites (room temperature) |
2/3 c. sugar |
1/4 tsp. salt |
1 tsp. salt |
1 tsp. vanilla |
1 c. chopped pecans |
1 c. chocolate morsels |
Directions:
1. Beat the egg whites and 1/4 teaspoon salt until foamy . . . Add the teaspoon of vanilla and beat a little more . . . Eggs should be at soft peak stage . . . Add 2/3 cup of sugar a teaspoon at a time . . . Beat well after each addition so sugar will dissolve . . . Eggs should be very stiff when all sugar has been used . . . Add pecans and chocolate morsels . . . Drop by teaspoons full onto ungreased cookie sheets. 2. (Foil covered.) 3. Put the cookies into oven and turn oven off immediately . . . Just forget cookies until oven is cold . . . they may be left overnight. 4. Yield: 3 dozen. |
