This has beer breading for extra flavor,very flavorfull,fondue is very popular again,great for get-togethers! Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck |
1 large egg |
1/4 cup dry breadcumbs |
2 tbsp. beer or applejuice |
1 tsp garlic salt |
2 cups vegetable oil (or peanut oil best) |
1/2 cup butter |
frothy batter |
1 cup biscuit mix |
1/2 cup beer or apple juice |
1 large egg |
mustard sauce |
1/2 cup mayonase |
2 tbsp.prepared mustard |
1 tbsp. onion finely chopped onion |
horseradish sauce |
1/2 cup dairy sour cream |
1 tbsp. horseradish |
1/8 tsp. worcestershire sauce |
Directions:
1. Prepare both the mustard and horseradish sauce,mix ingrediants togeter for each one and refrigerate until serving time. 2. PREPARE MEAT GLOBES: 3. Mix beef,egg,breadcrumbs,beer,garlic salt. 4. shape into 3/4 inch meatballs. 5. prepare frothy batter: 6. Mix all ingredients with a fork.(batter will be slightly lumpy) 7. heat oil and butter in a metal Fondue pot to 375 degrees. 8. Spear meat-globes with a fondue fork,dip in batter,and cook in the hot oil till done to taste about 2 minutes. 9. serve with the two sauces. |
