This is a yummy hearty meal with easy clean up afterwards. Ingredients:
1 to 1-1/2 lbs. beef round steak |
10 oz. frozen peas, thawed |
4 medium carrots, sliced thin |
4 medium potatoes, peeled |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
1 pkg. onion soup mix |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450°F. 2. Cut meat into 1 in. pieces. 3. Drain peas. 4. Tear off 4 pieces of heavy duty aluminum foil, each about 18 by 15 inches. 5. On center of each piece of foil, place 1 carrot, 1 potato (cut into quarters), and 1/4 of the meat. 6. Stir together mushroom soup and onion soup. 7. Spoon mixture over meat and top with peas. 8. Bring up edges of foil, double fold then do the same with ends. make sure to leave enough room for air to circulate. 9. Place on ungreased baking sheet. 10. Bake 50 minutes or until meat is tender. |
