FOIL GRILLED PEPPERS DATED 1971 This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Jennet Estate in Allen, Texas in 1983. Ingredients:
6 medium green peppers |
15 ounce can chili beans drained |
1/2 cup whole kernel corn |
3/4 cup catsup |
Directions:
1. Cut thin slice from stem end of green peppers. 2. Remove all seeds and membranes then wash inside and outside. 3. Mix all ingredients and lightly stuff each pepper. 4. Wrap each pepper securely in double thickness heavy duty aluminum foil. 5. Cook on medium coals 20 minutes turning once. |
