Focaccia-Style Flax Bread |

Ingredients:
2 cups flax seed meal |
1 tablespoon splenda no calorie |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
5 eggs, beaten |
1/2 cup water |
1/3 cup smart balance oil |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F. 2. Combine flax seed meal, artificial sweetener, salt and baking powder and mix well. 3. Add oil, water and well-beaten eggs and mix well. Let set for two to three minutes to thicken. 4. Pour batter into baking pan lined with oiled parchment paper or Silpat; spread to thickness desired, at least 1/2 inch. 5. Bake at 350 for apx. twenty minutes; bread is done if it bounces back a bit when pushed gently. 6. Cool for about twenty minutes before cutting into sections. |
