Spreads easily and works with almost any cake. Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar |
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar |
1 egg white |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup boiling water |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl. 2. Add boiling water last. 3. Beat on high with electric beater for 10 minutes. 4. Spread on cake. 5. This makes enough icing for a large angel food cake or 2 or 3 cake layers. |
