A lovely sauce with roast beef any way...sandwiches, roast, etc. From The United States Regional Cookbook, Culinary Institute of Chicago, 1947. Chilling time not included in preparation time. Ingredients:
1/4 cup grated horseradish |
1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar |
1/3 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne |
1/3 cup heavy cream, whipped |
Directions:
1. Combine first four ingredients and chill. 2. Just before serving, whip cream and fold in horseradish mixture. |
