I thought I had come up with this recipe on my own, but I found out later that it's pretty similar to BecR's Lavender, Chamomile and Jasmine Floral Blossom Tea Blend . I did spend some time on the internet getting ideas before I did my tea experiments, so I might've seen it and been influenced. I honestly can't remember. Anyway, the proportions are different from BecR's recipe. Apologies to BecR if you happen to see this and think I tried to rip you off. I promise it was unintentional. I really like this recipe - it's like a cup full of flowers. This one is good either hot or chilled. Ingredients:
1 teaspoon black tea |
1/2 teaspoon jasmine flower |
1/2 teaspoon lavender flowers |
1/2 teaspoon chamomile flowers |
Directions:
1. Assemble all the ingredients and place in a tea ball. Note: If you don't own a tea ball, then you can put the ingredients directly in the water and then strain out later. 2. Place tea ball in hot water and steep for 10 minutes. |
