Fresh flour tortillas are not the things you buy in the store. These taste so much better.... It so to kool. Ingredients:
4 cups flour |
2 teaspoons sea salt |
4 taspoons baking powder |
2 tablespoons veggie oil |
1 1/2 cups water |
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients together well 2. Add oil and part of the water, mixing well again. 3. Add more water a bit at a time to make a soft dough. 4. Knead for about 5 minutes. 5. Tear off a piece of dough about the size of a golf ball. roll it up and put it in to the bowl. 6. Once you have it all in balls you need to roll it out. 7. I roll them out really thin and gently place them into hot oil. 8. These only take a couple of minutes to cook. They bubble up on the top the edges start to trun white. 9. Flip it over wait a minute and there you are. 10. I place them on card board to drain, then into a bowl to serve. |
