Mexican style flour tortillas Ingredients:
500 g bread flour |
1 tbs lard |
1 tsp baking powder |
1 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. put dry ingredients in a bowl, cut lard into flour mix until it resembles course meal, add iced water until it all comes together as a pliable dough. allow to rest for a minimum of 15 minutes. cut dough into portions and roll. cook on a hot pan until blisters appear. keep the cooked tortillas warm under a kitchen cloth until all dough has been used. |
