Flounder Baked in Brown Butter |

From an old cookbook. Ingredients:
2 lbs flounder fillets |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
salt |
1/4 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Arrange fish in a single layer ub a greased baking dish. 2. Sprinkle with vinegar and salt; dot with butter. 3. Bake, basting every 5 minutes with crisp brown butter scraped from the edges of the pan, coating each piece completely. 4. Should be finished cooking at about 25-30 minutes. |
