we have avocados everywhere here..here's what I do with them! Ingredients:
1 large avocado. (florida) or 2 smaller hass |
1 tbs lime juice |
1 tbs garlic powder |
1 1/2 tbs mayo |
3 tsp seasoned salt (i use jane's crazy mixed up salt) |
1tsp crushed red pepper flakes |
some black pepper (few dashes or so...) |
Directions:
1. cut open avocado and remove pit.(you can grow the pit in a cup of water... just stick toothpicks in to keep half of it out of the water) 2. add all the other ingredients and mash with either a potato masher or fork, depending upon how smooth or chunky you like. 3. you can also add fresh tomatoes if you like(drain them on a paper towel first) 4. serve with chips, pitas, or just a spoon! 5. OOO! * I chill my avocado about an hour or two beforehand.* |
