Florentine Lemon Turkey Loaf |

I modified the ingredients to add some more lemon flavor. Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey |
1 cup cooked spinach, drained and chopped |
1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs |
1 egg, beaten |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 clove garlic, minced |
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese |
2 teaspoons lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl combine all the ingredients. 2. Mix gently. 3. Place into a 9 by 5 loaf-sized baking pan. 4. Pat down gently. 5. Bake at 350 for 60 minutes or until no longer pink in the center. 6. Let stand 10 minutes. 7. Slice and serve. |
