Yogurt provides beneficial bacteria for the intestines and gut and the flax is a source of fiber, protein and omega-3 fatty acids. Use any fresh fruit you have on hand. Ingredients:
1 cup natural plain yogurt or kefir |
1 tbsp. flax seeds |
1/2 cup fresh sliced fruit, such as banana, apple or berries. |
Directions:
1. Combine the flax seed with the yogurt and pour over fruit. Shaved fresh coconut is wonderful on top. |
