A pinch of sage and thyme season this quick-and-easy treatment for frozen corn. The speedy side dish is versatile enough to serve with most any entree. Ingredients:
2-1/2 cups frozen corn |
1/4 cup water |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage |
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, bring the corn and water to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 4-6 minutes or until corn is tender. Drain; add butter and seasonings. Stir until butter is melted. Yield: 4 servings. |
