This goes with any dish, even by itself. Everyone gets a kick out of a flaming dessert! Ingredients:
4 eggs, separated |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup rum |
Directions:
1. Beat eggs yolks and sugar well until creamy 2. Add Vanilla 3. Whip egg whites with salt 4. Fold beaten egg whites lightly into yolk mixture 5. Pour into baking dish or individual ramekins. 6. Bake at 325 for about 25 minutes or until firm. 7. Pour rum over soufflé at table, (careful!) 8. Light casserole or individual ramekins, let flame burn out. 9. Serve with a smile! |
