A recipe by Howard Helmer Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
2 eggs |
2 tablespoons water |
200 g strawberries, chopped |
1 banana, chopped |
1 kiwi fruit, chopped |
1/2 cup pecans |
icing sugar, to taste |
brandy, to taste |
sour cream, to taste |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in pan. 2. Add eggs beaten with water. 3. When omelette is just wet on top add filling. 4. Fold omelette in half and sprinkle with icing sugar. 5. Pour over brandy (caution: will ignite and caramelise). 6. Spoon flaming brandy over omelette. 7. When flame is out, top with small tub of sour cream. 8. Garnish with additional strawberries and pecans. 9. Serve from pan. |
