I love recipes that use crescent roles. They make such quick and easy recipoes. And these are delicious too Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) can crescent rolls |
3 ounces softened cream cheese |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup coconut flakes |
2 tablespoons honey |
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice |
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice |
1/2 cup powdered sugar |
1 teaspoon softened butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F . 2. Unroll crescent rolls dough; arrange into 2 large rectangles. 3. Overlap long sides or rectangles to shape a 13 x 7-inch rectangle. 4. Firmly press together edges and perpeforations to seal. 5. Into a small bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, coconut flakes, honey and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. 6. Blend until smooth. 7. Spread mixture over dough. 8. Roll-up dough, starting at a longer side. 9. Press edges to seal. 10. Cut roll into 12 slices; arrange onto an ungreased cookie sheet. 11. Bake into preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown. 12. Remove from heat; leave to cool. 13. Into a clean small bowl, beat together remaining 1 tablespoon lemon juice, icing sugar and softened butter into a glaze. 14. Drizzle glaze over still warm buns. |
