1 cup butter/ghee (chilled but soft enough to cut into small squares) |
2 cups maida |
3 tablespoons oats |
2 1/2 tablespoons powdered sugar |
pinch of salt |
2 teaspoons cold water |
flour for dusting |
Directions:
1. Rub the Maida into the butter with finger tips. 2. Add sugar, salt and oats. Combine well. 3. Add waterMake into a dough but do not knead. 4. Cover with cling wrap/foil and chill 20mins. 5. Pre-heat oven 200c. Roll out dough about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into desired shapes. Place on ugreased baking sheet. 6. Bake 8-10mins or until edges turn brown. |
