The dill weed in these lovely golden biscuits really comes through. They are fluffy,tender and delicious. Ingredients:
2 c flour |
3 tsp. baking powder |
2-3 tsp dill weed |
3/4 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp pepper |
1/2 c cold butter |
2 eggs,lightly beaten |
1/2 c plus 1 tbs half and half cream,divided |
Directions:
1. In bowl,combine flour,baking powder,dill,salt and pepper. Cut in butter till it resembles coarse crumbs. With a fork,stir in eggs and 1/2 c cream just till moistened. 2. Drop by 1/4 cupfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Brush tops with remaining cream. Bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 mins. or till golden brown. |
