Flagstones was a restaurant that I used to go to with my family as a child. Their fruit salad was one of the signature items on their menu. Once you try it, you will make it over and over again. Ingredients:
1 can sliced pear |
1 can sliced peach |
1 can pineapple chunk |
1 can bing cherry |
3/4 cup jellied cranberry sauce |
1/2 pint heavy cream |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
3/4 cup confectioners' sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla |
3 drops lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Drain and chill pears, peaches, pineapple chunks and cherries. 2. Whip cranberry sauce and add to the fruit; let stand for several hours. 3. For sauce, mix cream, mayonnaise, sugar, vanilla and lemon juice until creamy smooth. |
