I found this recipe on Obesity Help. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. I plan to add a scoop of protein powder to the batter. I may add one egg to bump up the protein. Ingredients:
1/2 cup fiber one complete pancake mix (mix with water as directed) |
pumpkin pie spice (sprinkle some in the batter) |
1 small banana, sliced |
sugar-free syrup |
2 tablespoons light whipped topping |
sliced almonds |
Directions:
1. Mix pancake mix and sprinkle some pumpkin pie spice in the batter. Add 1/2 of the sliced banana to the batter. 2. Cook as directed (you can make one big pancake or 2 small ones). 3. Top with sugar free syrup, the rest of the sliced banana, Whipped Topping and some sliced almonds. |
