Five Spice Cajun Shrimp Soup

Low fat and delicious...I sort of threw it together the other day for lunch
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cups shrimp
1 cup diced onion
1 table spoon minced garlic
6 cups water or 6 cups chicken broth
1 cup shredded carrot
1 (8 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon cilantro
1 teaspoon parsley
salt
pepper
hot sauce (i liked alot)
Directions:
1. Heat olive oil in pan
2. Add garlic, onion, shrimp and spices. Saute until onion and garlic are soft.
3. Add water/broth, undrained tomatoes and carrots. Bring to a boil.
4. Lower eat and simmer for an hour. Just before its ready, add salt, pepper and hot sauce.
5. Enjoy!
