This is the easiest Banana Bread recipe I have encountered. Minimal ingredients and great banana taste. I got this recipe from a local health food store newsletter years ago. I like it because it uses honey instead of sugar and you can even use apple sauce instead of the oil. Read more . Very healthy and great tasting recipe.
Ingredients:
3 large ripe bananas
1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup honey
2 cups flour
2 tablespoons baking powder
optional: 1/2 cup of walnuts or other nuts of your choice
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
2. Mash bananas.
3. Add oil and honey to mashed bananas and mix.
4. Add flour, baking powder and nuts.
5. Stir ,but not too much (about 10 stirs) You do not want to over stir batter.
6. Add dough to bread pan and bake for 30 min.
7. Place on cooling rack and let cool for 30 min.
8. Slice and Enjoy!
