From Mom's notebooks Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs flounder fillets, cut in 12 strips |
1/2 lb salmon fillet, cut in 12 cubes |
3 onions, sliced |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
2 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Wrap one strip of flounder around each cube of salmon to form rosettes; secure with toothpicks. 3. Grease a baking dish with butter or non-stick spray. Arrange onions on bottom of dish; place rosettes on top of onions. 4. Combine salt, paprika and pepper in small bowl; sprinkle over fish and onions. Add tomato sauce to baking dish. Dot fish with butter. 5. Bake 45 min or until fish flakes with a fork; baste with tomato sauce every 15 min while baking. |
