A yummy easy recipe for cooking fish amandine without the cream sauce. Ingredients:
1 lb pollock or 1 lb cod or 1 lb haddock or 1 lb trout |
2 tablespoons flour |
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons sliced almonds |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
3 drops hot sauce |
2 teaspoons parsley |
Directions:
1. Heat broiler. 2. Combine flour, salt, paprika. Dredge fish fillets in flour. Place on a greased broiler pan. 3. Drizzle 1 tbsp of melted butter over the top of the fish. Broil 10-15 mins until fish is flakey. 4. In a pan over medium heat, saute nuts until toasted. Add remaining butter, lemon juice, hot sauce, and parsley. Pour over fish when cooked. |
