Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour |
1 package dry yeast |
1 cup sugar, plus more for rolling |
3/4 cup vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Mix the flour and yeast in a bowl. Add 1 1/2 to 2 cups water and mix to form a soft dough. Add the sugar and let rise 4 to 5 hours. 2. Divide the dough into 12 to 15 pieces. 3. Preheat the oil in a large pot to 375 degrees F. 4. Roll each piece of dough lengthwise about 5 inches long and 1-inch diameter. Fry the oil until golden. Roll in additional sugar after frying. 5.
