This recipe is from a volunteer fire department's annual fish fry. Ingredients:
4 (16 ounce) cans pork & beans |
3/4 cup ketchup |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1 small onion, chopped finely |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 lb bacon |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Mix all ingredients except bacon. 3. pour into 13x9 glass baking dish. 4. Top with bacon strips. 5. Bake 35-40 minutes. 6. Let beans stand 15 minutes to thicken before serving. 7. (Don't forget the cottage cheese!). |
