Finnish Cardamom Sour Cream Cake |

A dense pound cake Ingredients:
2 eggs, beaten |
2 cups sour cream |
2 cups sugar |
2 drops almond extract |
3 cups white flour, sifted |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom |
Directions:
1. Combine eggs, sour cream, sugar and almond extract. 2. add mixed dry ingredients gradually. 3. pour into a buttered bundt pan that has been dusted with granulated sugar or cookie crumbs. 4. bake at 350F for about 1 hour. 5. cool 5 - 10 minutes before turning out of pan. 6. sprinkle with icing sugar before serving. |
