(Pronounced Fi-yan ki-fee) (short i sounds) An Arabic Drink.
Ingredients:
3 cups water
1 cinnamon stick
1 whole clove
1 inch piece fresh gingerroot (cracked)
1/2 tablespoon anise seed
sugar
toasted walnuts
toasted pine nuts
Directions:
1. Combine spices to water and boil until water turns dark
2. Pour into cups, add sugar (to taste) and add a walnut to each cup.
