I saw this on TV on Mirch Masala, Star Plus. It is delicious, so crunchy, munchy, mmmmmmmmm! Oh, this also happens to be my first recipe for 2002!!! Ingredients:
4 tablespoons golden syrup or 4 tablespoons honey |
6 -8 tablespoons butter |
1/2 cup sugar |
3 tablespoons cocoa powder |
1 cup corn flakes |
1/2 cup cashews, chopped |
1 cup murmure (puffed rice) |
cashews, chopped |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, put the golden syrup. 2. Add butter. 3. Add sugar. 4. Add cocoa powder. 5. Allow to boil JUST ONCE. 6. Remove from heat. 7. Add cornflakes, murmure and cashews. 8. Put into paper cases. 9. Garnish with few chopped cashews. 10. Put in your refrigerator to set. 11. Serve after dinner! |
