This was my Grandfathers trick. Other then myself, I have not run into anyone else that finds their watermelons by this method. Ingredients:
1 watermelon |
1 thumb nail |
Directions:
1. My Grandfather used to take his thumb nail and run it across the skin of the watermelon. The easer the skin peals back and if it peals back in one long line the riper the melon is. I can’t thump them and tell the difference between the thumps This works every time, especially with a seeded watermelon.
