Filled Ham and Cheese Rolls |

Can be made ahead, wrapped in foil, and then heated just before serving. Ingredients:
2 cups chopped cooked ham (or ground cooked ham) |
2 tablespoons finely chopped sweet pickles |
3 tablespoons mayonnaise |
2 tablespoons sweet pickle juice |
1 teaspoon prepared mustard |
2 cups grated cheddar cheese |
6 green onions, thinly sliced (include some tender green tops) |
2 tablespoons chopped black olives |
3 tablespoons mayonnaise |
6 crusty sourdough sandwich buns, split lengthwise |
1 -2 tablespoon mayonnaise |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°. 2. Spread cut sides of rolls lightly with mayonnaise. 3. On bottom half of rolls; spread a layer of ham filling, then a layer of cheese filling. 4. Replace tops of rolls; wrap sandwiches in foil; bake 15-20 minutes, until warmed through. |
