Fill You up Tuna Noodle Casserole |

This is a very yummy tuna noodle casserole that I came up with using different recipes I combined and adding a few things of my own. It makes a large amount to feed your family, fills them up, and reheats well for leftovers! Ingredients:
16 ounces extra wide egg noodles |
3 (6 ounce) cans light chunk tuna in water (drained) |
1 (20 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup, or |
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
2 cups frozen peas |
16 ounces mild cheddar cheese |
1 cup milk |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 cups french-fried onions, cheddar flavor |
Directions:
1. 1. preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. 2. Spray bottom and sides of a 9x13 pan with no stick cooking sparay. 3. 3. cook egg noodles according to package directions. 4. 4. In a large bowl mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, peas, 8oz of cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and 1 cup of french fried onions. 5. 5. add tuna and noodles. 6. 6. Put mixture in 9x13 pan, top with remaining cheese, cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. 7. 7. Remove foil, top with 1 cup french fried onions and bake for additional 15 minutes. |
