Version 1 Ingredients:
2 1/2 lbs of cubed steak |
6 garlic cloves, minced |
1 medium onion, sliced |
1/2 cup carrot, sliced |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1/3 cup soy sauce |
1 cup string bean, fresh |
1 pinch pepper |
1 cup water |
1 pinch msg |
3 tablespoons cornstarch (mixed with 1/4 cup of water) |
Directions:
1. In a skillet, add water, steak, garlic,, lemon juice, soy sauce, pepper, and MSG. 2. Bring to a boil and mix well. 3. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 - 45 minutes until the liquid reduces my half. 4. Add the onions and green beans and cook until vegetables are tender. 5. Add the cornstarch and water mixture and cook until the liquid thickens to the consistency of runny gravy. 6. Serve with fresh jasmine rice. |
