Filet Mignon And Blue Cheese Flatbread

This is healthier take on a popular chain steak house recipe. it can be also served as an entree with a salad for a nice summer meal!
Ingredients:
1 tbs olive oil
1 1/2 tsp crushed or minced garlic
1 cup thinly sliced vidalia
1 tsp olive oil 4 whole wheat pita pockets( 6 inch wide) or similar healthy flatbread
1 cup shredded reduced fat cheddar and jack blend
1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese or gorgonzola
5 ounces thinly sliced strips of keand roast beef or grilled filet mignon
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450
2. combine 1 TBS olive oil with crushed garlic and set aside
3. with 1 tsp olive oil in fry pan saute onion over medium -high heat until nicely browned(about 4 min)
4. place breads on a nonstick baking sheet
5. brush with oil garlic mixture
6. combine cheeses then spread evenly over the pita pockets
7. garnish tops with the beef and caramelized onion
8. bake in center of oven for 8-10 minutes.
