Cool off on a hot summer day with Figgy Frozen Yogurt. Top this frozen treat with roasted pecans and caramel topping. Ingredients:
2 cups greek yogurt |
1 cup heavy cream |
1/3 cup sugar |
1/4 cup cane syrup |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
pinch of salt |
1 cup mashed fresh figs |
1/4 cup chopped roasted salted pecans |
3 tablespoons caramel topping |
Directions:
1. Blend yogurt, cream, sugar, syrup, vanilla, and salt. Stir in mashed figs. Chill 2 hours. Freeze in a 1 1/2-qt. ice-cream maker, swirling in pecans and caramel topping the last few minutes of freezing. |
