Very unique and very tasty. Enjoy Ingredients:
10 cups butter lettuce torn bite size |
4 ounces blue cheese crumbled |
1/2 cup almonds |
1 tablespoon champagne vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard |
3 tablespoons olive oil |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
6 black figs thinly sliced |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl combine the lettuce, cheese and almonds then set aside. 2. In a small bowl whisk together the vinegar and mustard. 3. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil and whisk until well combined. 4. Season with salt and pepper. 5. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine. 6. Divide the salad among 6 plates and arrange the figs on top. 7. Serve immediately. |
