Ordinary rice gets extraordinary flavor when it's cooked with picante sauce instead of water. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) jar paceĀ® picante sauce |
1/4 cup water |
2 cups uncooked quick-cooking brown rice |
1 cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained |
1/2 cup frozen whole kernel corn, thawed |
Directions:
1. Heat picante sauce and 1/4 cup water in a saucepan to a boil. 2. Stir in rice, beans and corn. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork. |
