Basic, but pretty good for emu, IMO. Ingredients:
1 lb ground emu |
taco seasoning mix |
1 garlic clove, minced finely |
4 hamburger buns |
sour cream |
smoked gouda cheese, sliced |
red onion, slices |
tomato |
lettuce |
Directions:
1. Mix ground emu with taco seasoning and minced garlic. 2. Form into 4 patties. 3. Cook over very hot grill or in skillet over high heat 4 to 5 minutes per side. 4. Spread buns with sour cream, if using. 5. Add emu patties, cheese, onions, lettuce and tomatoes, if desired. |
