I found this on a box of Crisp'itz Crackers (Giant brand Ritz Crackers) and everyone that had it at our Thanksgiving celebration liked it. Posting for safe keeping. COOKING TIME DOES NOT INCLUDE 2 HOUR CHILL TIME. Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package light cream cheese, softened |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 (4 ounce) can green chilies, chopped and undrained |
2 tablespoons chopped pimiento |
1 tablespoon green onions with top, finely chopped |
ritz cracker (for serving) |
Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese and salt; beat until light and fluffy. 2. Stir in chilies, pimientos and onion. 3. Chill, covered, 2 to 3 hours. 4. Let stand at room temp for 15 minutes before serving. Serve with Ritz crackers. |
